St John's Walworth CofE Primary School Mobile app and Jotter Website

Parents are often busy, so keeping them updated with the latest school news can be difficult. The new Jotter Mobile app by Webanywhere can solve all those problems, by delivering all the information they need straight to their mobile phones.

The School

St John’s Walworth C of E Primary School is a Voluntary Aided Church of England School within the diocese of Southwark and Southwark Education Authority. They teach students aged 4-11 and have used Webanywhere eLearning solutions since 2012.

The Problem

St John’s Walworth wanted a new website that they could update themselves, as they didn’t want to have to contact support in order to make any updates.  They also wanted to improve the way that they communicated with parents, so that they could better inform them of what was going on in school.

The Solution

After speaking with Webanywhere, the school signed up for a bespoke website with a custom mobile app. The website was built using our simple Jotter platform, meaning it was easy to use and the school could make any website changes themselves. With our ongoing customer support, they could also contact the Webanywhere team at any time with any queries or questions, giving them the opportunity to instil their personality within the website.

What St John’s Walworth had to say

“We are really happy with Webanywhere and the products they provide. The staff are always friendly and it is easy for me to update the website myself. In a recent Ofsted visit, inspectors praised the website, saying it was brilliant.” - Keith Fox, St. John's Walworth

Why Webanywhere?

“We chose Webanywhere because they offered a cost-effective and easily customisable website. We can update it instantaneously with photos from awards ceremonies and the children look forward to seeing their photos on the site. Jotter is miles better than the alternatives. We have heard of other schools who have to contact support in order to update their websites and it takes days to make a small tweak. But that’s not the case with Webanywhere; it’s as simple as dragging and dropping to build a highly customised, user friendly website.” - Keith Fox, St. John's Walworth

Success Story

To celebrate the Queen’s official 90th birthday, St John’s Walworth joined in with the festivities by hosting activities linked The Commonwealth. They encouraged the kids to get creative, by getting involved with a fashion show, a tea party with cake and scones baked by the pupils, and a bouncy (Windsor) castle! The day was a great success and received a lot of attention on their Webanywhere school website and mobile app.
